<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="702" data-start="303">I&rsquo;ve always been drawn to&nbsp;storytelling, whether that was writing, filming, telling a tall tale over a couple of espresso martinis, or even a degree in visual effects that I never quite ended up using. After falling in love with photography whilst travelling, I&nbsp;realised the best way for me to tell stories was with a camera in hand and some positive, creative energy behind the lens (although I still really love a good espresso martini).</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1236" data-start="704">From the first wedding I&nbsp;photographed, telling the story of&nbsp;two people in&nbsp;love quickly became my&nbsp;thing. As&nbsp;corny as&nbsp;it&nbsp;sounds, it&rsquo;s the reason this never really feels like a&nbsp;job.</p>

<p style="text-align: center; line-height: 1;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Usually coffee, but not-so jokes aside, genuinely enjoying what I do means I show up to wedding days with energy, curiosity, and a readiness for whatever comes next. I&rsquo;m always up for an adventure, never afraid to get uncomfortable, and more than happy to dirty my shoes in the name of a good laugh or a good photo.</span><br><br><span style="font-size: 16px;">Connection is a big part of how I work.</span><br><span style="font-size: 16px;">I love getting to know the couples I photograph, understanding what makes you laugh, what matters to you, and what your relationship is really about. The more comfortable you feel, the more honest and meaningful the photos become, and that&rsquo;s always my goal.</span><br><br></p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="755" data-start="601">Jack Rabbit in Geelong delivered plenty of summer sun for Chris and Kate&rsquo;s incredible wedding day.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="919" data-start="757">The morning started in Port Arlington, with soft light and a quiet build alongside friends and family, excited smiles and giddy nervousness already in full swing.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1133" data-start="921">Before heading to the venue, Chris and Kate decided to share an intimate first look at the boutique Port Arlington Hotel. The photos ended up being a very real and perfect reflection of a genuinely special moment.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1458" data-start="1135">By the time everyone arrived at Jack Rabbit, blue skies were well and truly out. The ceremony took place framed by vineyard rows and long views across the Bellarine Peninsula. It was beautifully sweet and struck the perfect balance of easy-going, humorous, and emotionally real. <span style="color: rgb(28, 28, 225);"><a href="https://www.kahanicelebrant.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Celebrant Kahani</a></span> absolutely nailed the vibe.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Following a whole heap of celebratory hugs and kisses and some roaming canapees, we captured some sunny bridal party and couples portraits amongst the vines.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1729" data-start="1460">When the sun began to dip, we went exploring out into the open fields for some glowing sunset portraits, making the most of the golden light as it rolled across the landscape. It was one of those evenings where every turn offered something new to photograph with each passing minute.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="2020" data-start="1731">The celebrations carried on into the night, with music, laughter, and a full dance floor rounding out the day. Looking back, this wedding brought together all the things that make a great day to photograph: a beautiful location, great light, and a couple who made the most of every moment.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="728" data-start="551">All set against the tropical backdrop of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1011" data-start="730">From the start of the day, everything felt relaxed and unforced. Getting ready was calm, full of laughter, and completely free of any rush. It was one of those mornings where everyone knew exactly what kind of day it was going to be. Easy, meaningful and one big celebration.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1431" data-start="1013">The ceremony took place beneath tall palm trees, with the ocean stretching out behind them. Nothing felt overdone or staged. Just two people, surrounded by their closest friends and family, exchanging vows in a place that felt deeply personal to them and their relationship. Tuey wore a stunning Hacchic Couture dress, Romain looked effortlessly sharp, and together they set the tone for the entire day. Intimate, joyful, and full of warmth.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="1672" data-start="1433">As the sun dropped and the light softened, we slipped away for a few quiet moments together. The sunset gave us one of those rare windows where everything slows down, and it was the perfect way to transition from ceremony into celebration.</p>

<p style="text-align: center;">Once night fell, the energy shifted. Music filled the space, guests spilled onto the dance floor, and the celebration took on a life of its own. With DJ Hairne behind the decks, the party rolled late into the night, exactly the way a day like this should end (and yes, we of course returned for the after party afterwards!).</p>

<p style="text-align: center;" data-end="2396" data-start="2149">Looking back, this wedding wasn&rsquo;t about ticking boxes or following traditions for the sake of it. It was about choosing a place that mattered, surrounding themselves with the right people, and creating a celebration that felt true to who they are.</p>

A Dream Destination Wedding in Phu Quoc, Vietnam - Tuey & Romain

<p>What an extraordinary day! The air was filled with the scent of sweet ice cream and salty hot chips, the sound of laughter, and the unmistakable buzz of an engagement party. The day was all about Daniel and Janay, who had invited their nearest and dearest to celebrate their engagement. Little did the guests know, they were in for a surprise of a lifetime.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>As the guests settled, enjoying the ice cream and popping prosecco, wedding celebrant Pip from GetMarriedwithPip, pulled back the curtain to reveal the truth. This wasn&rsquo;t just an engagement party, it was a wedding! Daniel and Janay were about to become husband and wife.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The surprise was delivered in the outrageously vibey Kennylover Icecream Parlor. The couple entered to shocked expressions, instantly replaced with joy and tears of happiness. The atmosphere was electric with excitement as the couple said their 'I do's,' marking the start of their journey as a married couple.</p>

<p>The celebrations didn&rsquo;t stop there though. The newlyweds and their guests moved to the reception venue, Welcome to Thornbury, where the energy levels remained high as they suprised the rest of their family and friends and danced the night away.</p>

<p>This was a wedding that broke the conventional norms, and that's part of what made it so special. It was unique, personal, and full of surprises, a perfect reflection of Daniel and Janay's relationship. It was an absolute honor to be part of this wedding, to see the surprise unfold and to capture these beautiful moments.</p>

A Surprise Wedding - The Love Story of Daniel and Janay

A supposed engagement party turned surprise wedding with Janay & Daniel leaving all their partygoers smiling ear to ear and happily teary eyed as they said their "I Do's" at the vibrant Kenny Lover in Thornbury. With Ice Cream, Hot Chips and Prosecco by the bottle, this day was incredible and not one anyone will forget anytime soon.
